Our Summer School takes place every year at the Institute of Development Studies in Brighton, UK.
The Summer School brings together highly-motivated doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, working in fields around development studies, science and technology studies, innovation and policy studies, and across agricultural, health, water or energy issues.

The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) provides an ongoing series of short courses and training.
The courses are aimed at professionals within the international development
sector such as charity workers, NGO managers or government officials.
Topics include Participatory Action Research, social protection and tackling undernutrition.

The Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex hosts a series of Winter and Summer Schools on science and innovation policy and supporting disciplines, catering for early career scholars and professionals at different stages of their careers. The first Winter School was held in January 2017.
